Office of the Provost
The provost is the University’s chief academic officer and is responsible for all educational 项目 and offerings, outside of the 神学院. Dr. Michael 卡尔 became North Park University’s provost in July 2021.

Dr. Michael 卡尔 and the provost team work with faculty, 工作人员, and students to support academic excellence at North Park University. Dr. 卡尔 comes to us from National Louis University in 芝加哥 where he has served as Deputy Provost. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Olivet Nazarene University, his master’s from Ball State University, and his PhD in molecular biology from the University of Illinois at 芝加哥. Dr. 卡尔 is an accomplished scholar and proven administrator, and he is very enthused about the mission and opportunity to serve North Park, 领导我们的教员, and be a strong strategic senior partner with the president.
