Congratulations on making your deposit and deciding to attend North Park University! Becoming a North Park student involves more than registering for classes. Actively engaging in the onboarding process is the beginning of your North Park experience. 

Prepare To Be a North Parker

Activate Your Account

Set up your North Park network account to use your North Park email, pay housing deposits, register for classes, and access other campus resources. You’ll receive an email from our Information Technology department with instructions after you make your deposit.

Take Your Placement Tests

The writing and math placement exams will help identify the right course for you to take in English and math. Access information for placement exams.

Attend Launch Day

Get introduced to the university at Launch Day. Register for classes and learn about resources, academic success, financial aid, and student life. Sign up for Launch Day.

North Park is committed to a safe community and provides a wide range of resources including a late-night shuttle and a free smartphone app. Using the LiveSafe app, students, campus employees, parents, and the community can quickly and easily contact 9-1-1 or North Park's security team to get help or report suspicious or unsafe activity. Users can also invite friends or family to follow their location on a map, or request a ride from campus security.

Peer Student Success Coaching

Designed to help you transition into your first year of college through student cohorts and student mentor support, Peer Student Success Coaching (PSSC) supports you to handle the academic rigor and social challenges of college.

  • Students are assigned to a First – Year cohort overseen by a Peer Student Success Coach (PSSC).
  • Students will participate in seminar symposiums lead by PSSC.
  • Studens will meet with a PSSC monthly and attend social events.
